I spotted an obscure track that veered off northwards. To my delight, it became ever fainter, so that we had to stop at times to search for it. It was rich with game sign too, and some way along it, we spotted a small bachelor herd of Sable bulls. To take my self-drive safari forward into the area of untouched African wilderness in Angola that I was aiming for, proved to be quite a challenge.
